Things To Do

Charleston holds such a special place in our hearts. For many years it has been our sweet escape making it the perfect place for us to say our I Do’s! From the things to do, places to see, and food to eat, we hope you love the Holy City as much as we do!

    1. Visit Middleton Place - cross over the Ashley River and have your breath taken away by one of the many historical landmarks that make up Charleston’s rich history. The gardens at Middleton are a must-see

    2. Take a Ghost Tour - get acquainted with the spooky side of the city and learn about some of its eternal residents on a ghost tour. We recommend Bulldog Tours!

    3. Walk the Charleston Market - an open-air market in the middle of downtown Charleston. Watch the Charleston-famous straw baskets be made or buy yourself some Charleston gear, the Market has it all!

    1. King Street - join the hustle and bustle of King Street where the city’s best restaurants and bars are a plenty. Take a walk down King Street and you will most likely stumble into some of our favorite spots!

    2. Rainbow Row - stroll the iconic row of colorful houses nestled along the Charleston Harbor. Perfect photo-op!

    3. White Point Garden - on your way down from Rainbow Row, walk along The Battery and enter this beautiful park plentiful of Charleston’s iconic oak trees

    4. Ravenel Bridge - hike over the Ravenel Bridge transporting you to Shem Creek and Mount Pleasant where you will find even more restaurants and Charleston night life

    5. Sullivans Island - our all-time favorite place. Should the weather allow, pull up a chair or beach towel at Station 21 on Sullivans Island. Our favorite beach on the East Coast

    1. Home Team BBQ - the first spot we hit when we get into town. There are a few locations, but the Sullivans Island location is our favorite. A Gamechanger cocktail with a side of their BBQ nachos are a must!

    2. Poe’s - in the mood for a burger and a beer instead? Head right across the street from Home Team to Poe’s

    3. Tavern & Table - enjoy New American cuisine while experiencing the views and night life of Shem Creek

    4. Leon’s - THE oyster restaurant in Charleston. But, their fried chicken is our favorite

    5. Poogan’s Porch - if you’re looking for a classic southern brunch, this is the place to go. Order the fried green tomatoes and the classic shrimp & grits

    6. Husk - elevated Southern restaurant that has become a staple. A special occasion-type place so if you can’t get a reservation, put your name in and grab a drink at their side bar

    7. Melfi’s - amazing Italian in Charleston - what more could you want! Make sure to order the Stretch Armstrong pizza and thank us later

    1. Stars Rooftop - one of our go-to stops along the King Street bar crawl. The newly renovated rooftop is the ideal day drink spot

    2. Blind Tiger - quintessential pub in downtown Charleston. Fun at any time of day, but especially late night

    3. Henry’s - funky multi-level restaurant and bar. Huge rooftop space with occasional live music!

    4. Cocktail Club - a MUST nightcap spot. You will be transported into a modern day speakeasy and the live band that plays every Thursday and Sunday have made for some of our most memorable nights
